If withdrawal takes place at least 3 months beforehand, the reduction will be 30%. In the case of a short-notice withdrawal, the full stand fee remains payable and no refund will be granted.

§ 2.2 Rental Furniture

The Participant may book rental furniture from the Organiser for a fee. The furniture may vary in size, quality and condition and may show signs of use. The items do not always correspond to the stated standard dimensions.

§ 2.2.1 Reporting Defects

Any defects or damage to rented furniture must be reported to the Organiser immediately. The Participant is liable for all damage to the rented furniture caused by them.

§ 3 Payment Terms

The amount payable for stand rental and rental furniture must be received in the Organiser’s account within 10 days of receipt of the invoice. Even if a location has been agreed in advance, a different location may be assigned in exceptional circumstances. The Organiser will endeavour to take requested placements into account but is not obliged to do so.

§ 4.1 Stand Size and Layout

The Organiser allocates stands in various sizes. The Participant may not assert any guarantee or claims for damages. Participants must strictly adhere to the marked-out areas.

§ 4.2 Aisles and Safety Regulations

Marked stand areas must not be exceeded, and escape routes and emergency exits must be kept clear. If the Participant needs to leave the stand temporarily, they must arrange reliable cover or secure the stand in such a way as to prevent unauthorised access to goods and valuables as far as possible.

§ 6.3 Theft and Loss

The Organiser does not take custody of goods, valuables or other personal belongings brought in by the Participant. The Organiser is liable for theft, loss or damage to these items in accordance with applicable law. Statutory claims for liability, particularly in cases of intentional or grossly negligent conduct or injury to life, body or health, remain unaffected.

The Participant must report any discovered theft or loss to the Organiser without delay. The police must also be notified where necessary.

§ 6.4 Goods Left Behind Outside Event Hours

Leaving goods, cash, technical equipment and other valuables at the stand outside official event hours is at the Participant’s own risk. The Participant is required to remove valuables and goods particularly vulnerable to theft after the event or secure them appropriately. The Organiser is not obliged to provide guarding or individual security for individual stands unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. The Organiser’s statutory liability obligations remain unaffected.

§ 7 Legal Requirements

Participants are responsible for informing themselves about all relevant regulations and laws relating to the event. In the event of relocation or cancellation, stand fees already paid will be credited towards the new or replacement date. The Participant is not entitled to a refund or compensation. If an event cannot take place due to force majeure, such as a storm, no replacement or compensation will be provided.

§ 12 Permitted Promotional Activities

By entering the premises, purchasing an admission ticket or registering for stand space, the Participant permits the Organiser and third parties to use audio recordings, photographs or video recordings featuring them. Photographs, video and audio recordings are regularly made at events and published in the press, on the website, on social media and for promotional purposes. If a hazard arises, the Organiser is entitled to prohibit their use immediately.

§ 14 Liability for Damage

The Participant is fully liable for all damage caused to the Organiser or third parties by the Participant or their representatives and must compensate the Organiser accordingly. The operators of the respective sales stand are jointly and severally liable.

§ 14.1 Exclusion of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser’s liability for property brought in by the renter, as well as for personal injury and property damage, is excluded and limited to cases of intent and gross negligence. The renter bears the burden of proving fault. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for Participants’ personal belongings.

§ 15 Data Protection

Protecting your data is a top priority for us. By registering, you agree that your data may be stored and processed electronically for the performance and administration of this contractual relationship.
